About PSPC

Pakistan Security Printing Corporation Pvt. Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the State Bank of Pakistan. It is the country’s sole security printing organization. PSPC produces banknotes, passports, and other sensitive security documents that support national and economic stability.

Position Available

Quantity Surveyor. Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing.

Location. Karachi or Faisalabad

Role Overview

You will protect the client’s financial interests on a major project. You will manage budgets, ensure value for money, and control all financial aspects of MEP works from start to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review BOQs and cost estimates for MEP packages.
Evaluate and compare contractor bids and advise on the most suitable option.
Review, verify, and certify monthly running account bills.
Examine, negotiate, and approve variation orders and claims.
Prepare and finalize final accounts for MEP packages as per contract terms.
Coordinate with the Project Manager for site visits and progress verification.
Track costs against the approved budget and project schedule.
Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts. Identify financial risks early.

Eligibility Criteria

Education. DAE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Higher engineering qualifications will be preferred.
Experience. Minimum 10 years as a Quantity Surveyor on building projects. At least 3 years on the employer or consultant side in project management.
Skills. Certification in AutoCAD and strong command of MS Office, especially Excel, will be an advantage.
Age. Maximum 50 years on the closing date.

Important Notes

The position is offered on a three year contract. Extension depends on performance and organizational needs.
