Applications are invited from qualified Pakistani nationals for the position of Chairman and Dean at Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of integrity, effective management, and the ability to lead a professional team while achieving institutional goals.
Position: Chairman and Dean, Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore
Age Limit: Maximum 60 years
Qualifications:
MBBS or equivalent qualification with higher postgraduate qualification: Ph.D for Basic Sciences or FCPS/MRCP/FRCS/MD/MS/American Board or equivalent for Clinical Sciences, recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
Eminent person of scientific and medical repute.
Master's degree or postgraduate diploma in Public Health, MHPE, Health Services Administration, Medical Sciences, or equivalent recognized by HEC is preferred.
Minimum 15 publications in peer-reviewed journals, including at least 3 in international journals recognized by HEC/PMDC.
Experience:
Professor in the medical profession for at least 5 years on a regular basis.
Minimum 3 years of senior-level experience in hospital administration or management, preferably as head of a medical institution.
Tenure:
Appointment will be on a three-year contract, extendable in periods not exceeding three years at a time, under terms determined by the Federal Government.
Emoluments:
Salary equivalent to the initial stage of BPS-22 with additional fringe benefits.
