The Ministry of Commerce invites applications from highly qualified, dynamic, and result-oriented professionals for the positions of Member at the National Tariff Commission (NTC). This is a full-time, quasi-judicial role requiring integrity, competence, and the ability to perform under demanding timelines.
NTC is a statutory autonomous body established under the NTC Act, 2015. It advises the Federal Government on tariffs, trade measures, trade remedies, and tariff reforms while supporting domestic industry competitiveness.
Master’s degree or professional qualification in Law, Business, Economics, Accountancy, Commerce & Trade, Tariffs and Trade, or related trade subject from an accredited university/institute.
Minimum 15 years of professional work experience in relevant fields including law, business, economics, accountancy, harmonized tariffs, commerce, and trade.
Preference given to candidates with knowledge or experience in trade remedy laws.
Must be a citizen of Pakistan.
Cannot have a conviction involving moral turpitude or be adjudged insolvent.
Must be physically, mentally, and psychologically fit as certified by a Federal Government medical board.
Must disclose any conflict of interest and adhere to NTC Act provisions.
MP-I Scale (as per MP Scale Policy)
Term: 5 years
