The Agriculture Department Punjab invites applications from eligible candidates domiciled in Punjab for contract positions under the development project “Transformation of Agricultural Information through Digital Inclusion and Dissemination (2025-27)”.

Important Notes:

Upper age limit will not be relaxed.

Equivalence certificates for foreign degrees must be provided by the candidate.

Retired government employees are not eligible.

These are temporary, contract-based positions valid until 30-06-2027.

Recruitment will be strictly merit-based across Punjab.

Attested copies of CNIC, certificates, degrees, marksheets, Hafiz-e-Quran certificate (if applicable), ex-service release orders, and other relevant documents.

Hard copy applications must reach Director General Agricultural Information, Punjab, 21-Davis Road, Lahore by 13-01-2026. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Candidates may also apply online via www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk, but hard copy submission is mandatory.

Lists of eligible and selected candidates will be displayed on the notice board. No TA/DA will be provided.

Selected candidates will not have pay protection, regularization, or quota benefits.

1. Who can apply for these positions?
Candidates must be domiciled in Punjab and meet the age, qualification, and experience criteria listed for each post. Retired government employees are not eligible.

2. What is the duration of the contract?
All positions are contract-based and valid until 30-06-2027. Duration may change if the project period is extended or reduced.

3. How can I apply?

5. Is there any relaxation in the age limit?
No, relaxation in the upper age limit is not allowed.

6. How will candidates be selected?
Selection is strictly merit-based across Punjab, following the eligibility and selection criteria approved in the project PC-I. Only eligible candidates will be called for test/interview.

7. Are these positions regular or transferable?
No, all positions are temporary, non-transferable, and contract-specific. Selected candidates are not entitled to regularization, pay protection, or pension benefits.

8. Will TA/DA be provided for interviews?
No, candidates must attend interviews at their own expense.

9. How will I know if I am eligible or selected?
Eligible candidates will be listed on the notice board three days prior to the interview. Final selection lists will be displayed after approval by the competent authority.

10. Can the number of posts change?
Yes, the competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts as needed.
