Eligibility Criteria:

MBBS or equivalent with a higher postgraduate qualification (Ph.D. for Basic Sciences, FCPS/MRCP/FRCS/MD/MS/American Board or equivalent for Clinical Sciences) recognized by PMDC.

Eminent in scientific and medical fields.

Master’s or higher diploma in Public Health, MHPE, Health Services Administration, Medical Sciences, or equivalent recognized by HEC is preferred.

At least 15 publications in peer-reviewed journals, including a minimum of 3 in international journals recognized by HEC/PMDC.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years as Professor in the medical field on a regular basis.

At least 3 years in senior hospital administration or management, preferably as head of a medical institution.

Tenure:

Appointment on a three-year contract, extendable up to three years at a time, under terms determined by the Federal Government.

Emoluments:

Equivalent to the initial stage of BPS-22, with fringe benefits.
