MBBS or equivalent from a PMDC recognized institution with a valid PMDC license.
Experience and qualification must comply with MTI and PMDC regulations.
Applications must be submitted on the prescribed form with biodata and attested academic and experience documents.

Fee structure
Professor or Associate Professor or Assistant Professor: Rs 3000
Assistant Professor group: Rs 2000
Demonstrators: Rs 1000

Government employees must apply through proper channel. If selected, they must resign from civil service.
Selected clinical faculty must perform IBP. Private practice outside the hospital is not allowed.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test or interview.
Applications must reach within 15 days of advertisement during office hours.
Late or incomplete applications will be rejected.
Preference in Pathology will be given to candidates with FCPS or clinical experience.
The scrutiny committee may reject incomplete applications. Appeals can be made to the competent authority.
Candidates may be disqualified for false information, forged documents, misconduct, or legal conviction.
Original documents must be presented during the interview.
The authority may increase, decrease, or cancel posts.
Candidates above 60 years for Serial 1 to 3 will be appointed on fixed pay for one year, extendable to age 63 based on performance.
