JOB DESCRIPTION
The High Court of Balochistan has announced an internship program for female advocates of the province. This program offers the opportunity to work as a Female Research Associate Internee for six months on a stipend-based contract. The initiative aims to encourage young female lawyers to enhance their skills, gain hands-on experience in legal research, and contribute to the court’s work.
Through this program, selected interns will assist judges and senior legal officers with legal research, case analysis, drafting notes, and preparing reports. They will also get exposure to specialized studies such as gender-based violence cases and UN-related legal issues. Responsibilities of Female Research Associate Internee
Conduct legal research
You will research laws, case precedents, and statutes to provide accurate legal references for the High Court.
Analyze case law
You will study judgments and prepare clear summaries, highlighting key points that can assist judges and legal officers.
Draft legal material
You will help in writing legal notes, bulletins, and research articles that support the court’s work.
Prepare reports
You will compile reports and briefs on assigned legal topics, ensuring they are clear and backed by proper references.
Assist judges and officers
You will provide background material and research support to judges or senior officials during case preparation.
Work on specialized studies
You may be assigned to study gender-based violence cases, UN-related legal matters, or other specialized legal research.

Perform clerkship-style tasks
