Law Admission Test (LAT) 2026 – Admission to LLB Programs in Pakistan

The Education Testing Council (ETC) is conducting the Law Admission Test (LAT) for students seeking admission to undergraduate LLB programs at HEC/PBC-recognized public or private universities and affiliated colleges in Pakistan. This test is held in compliance with the directions of the Honorable Supreme Court (Order dated March 6, 2018, and Judgment dated August 31, 2018, in CP-134/2012).

Who Can Apply

Students who have passed HSSC (12 years of education) or equivalent.

Students appearing in their final HSSC or equivalent exams and awaiting results.

Complete the registration and submit the application. Only submitted applications will be accepted.

Verify personal details (name, CNIC, contact number) carefully. Discrepancies may prevent test entry.

Applications using someone else’s CNIC are not allowed.

Submit the test fee through Link/Bill Invoice services using the generated consumer number, then verify payment online.

The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Roll Number Slips

Download from http://etc.hec.gov.pk and via registered email a week before the test.

Email/SMS notifications will be sent. Ensure your contact details are correct.

Bring a printed Roll Number Slip and original CNIC or Passport to the test center. Candidates under 18 must bring their original B-Form and SSC/HSSC certificate.

Test Centers

Conducted in major cities; select your preferred center during registration.

Centers cannot be changed after registration. ETC may assign a different center if fewer than 250 applicants register for a center.

Important Instructions

Mobile phones and electronic devices, including calculators, recording or communication devices, are not allowed.

Taking or sharing images of the question paper is strictly prohibited and punishable under ETC rules.
