Director General (Information Technology), PPS-10
This is a senior leadership role in the Capital Development Authority (CDA) based in Islamabad. The Director General will design and implement the digital transformation of CDA. The position requires developing and executing the IT roadmap, introducing e-Governance systems, and leading automation projects. The person will oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery. The role also involves coordinating with government departments, regulators, and technology partners to ensure smooth integration of IT solutions. Candidates must have at least 17 years of professional experience, including five years in senior leadership, with strong expertise in IT operations, project management, and digital systems.

Director (Information Technology), PPS-09
This position is focused on managing IT operations and supporting CDA’s automation and digitalization initiatives. The Director will be responsible for planning, developing, and supervising IT systems, databases, and applications. The role requires strong knowledge of procurement, PPRA compliance, budgeting, and financial planning for IT projects. The Director will work on introducing citizen-friendly digital solutions, ensuring data security, and managing vendor relationships. Candidates must have at least 12 years of experience, including five years in leadership roles, with solid skills in system integration, cybersecurity, and IT project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement CDA’s IT Roadmap for digitalization.

Design, develop, and implement digital systems and services.

Introduce e-Governance, paperless initiatives, smart city concepts, and modern IT solutions.

Supervise CDA’s IT systems, including cloud infrastructure, data, and disaster recovery processes.

Collaborate with government organizations, regulators, and technology partners.

Ensure IT procurement, compliance, budgeting, and project financing.

Monitor IT contracts, service-level agreements, and system performance.

Develop policies and procedures for IT governance and security.

Provide strategic input to senior management on IT-related issues.

Ensure digital systems are citizen-centric, efficient, and transparent.

Terms & Conditions:

The appointments will be on a contract basis for two years.

CDA reserves the right to reduce or increase posts or cancel recruitment at any stage.
