Experience
25 to 30 years total professional experience
Minimum background in WAPDA
3 to 5 years overseas experience in a managerial electrical role
Acts as focal person for all electrical matters of DHA Lahore
Provides technical input for electrical decisions and projects
Coordinates with LESCO, NTDC, WAPDA, and other statutory bodies
Ensures uninterrupted power supply and alternate arrangements during outages
Plans and oversees grid stations and transmission lines
Coordinates with consultants on electrical design and approvals
Carries out technical vetting of electrical IPCs
Plans future electrical network aligned with DHA master planning
Manages technical, financial, and operational electrical risks

Who should apply for this position?
You should apply if you have senior level electrical engineering experience. You must have worked with WAPDA and handled large scale power projects.
What level of experience is required?
You need 25 to 30 years of total experience. At least 3 to 5 years must be in a managerial electrical role abroad.
Is overseas experience mandatory?
Yes. Overseas managerial experience is required. It strengthens your eligibility.
What qualification is acceptable?
You must have a BSc in Electrical Engineering Power. An MSc in Power is preferred and gives you an edge.
What will be your core responsibility?
You will lead all electrical matters of DHA Lahore. You will ensure uninterrupted power supply and future network planning.
Will you deal with government departments?
Yes. You will coordinate with LESCO, NTDC, WAPDA, and other statutory bodies.
Is this a permanent job?
No. It is a contract position. The initial contract is for five years and can be extended on performance.
What is the age limit?
You must be between 45 and 60 years at the time of application.

No. DHA does not offer TA or DA.
