They are responsible not only for delivering high-quality teaching but also for mentoring junior teachers, maintaining academic standards, and ensuring effective classroom and administrative management in line with the school’s vision and policies.<br><br>Key Responsibilities1. Academic Responsibilities<br>• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives.<br>• Ensure differentiation in teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs of students.<br>• Maintain accurate records of student progress, grades, and assessments.<br>• Prepare students for examinations, competitions, and academic challenges.<br>• Contribute to the development, review, and improvement of curriculum plans and teaching materials.<br><br>2. Mentoring & Leadership<br>• Act as a role model for professional conduct, classroom management, and work ethics.<br>• Mentor and guide junior teachers in lesson planning, classroom strategies, and assessment methods.<br>• Provide constructive feedback to colleagues and support in their professional growth.<br><br>3. Student Development<br>• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment.<br>• Identify students’ strengths and weaknesses, providing additional support or enrichment activities as needed.<br>• Promote critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students.<br><br>4. Coordination & Administration<br>• Coordinate academic and extracurricular activities within the assigned grade level or subject department.<br>• Ensure that lesson plans, diaries, and teaching aids are up-to-date and meet quality standards.<br>• Assist in school events, annual functions, exhibitions, and inter-school competitions.<br>• Prepare reports for parents, management, and relevant authorities.<br><br>5. Professional Conduct<br>• Maintain punctuality, discipline, and a positive attitude towards work and colleagues.<br>• Attend meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions as required.<br>• Uphold the school’s policies, values, and code of conduct at all times.<br><br>Qualifications & Skills<br>• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or relevant subject area.<br>• Minimum 2years of teaching experience, preferably with leadership or mentoring exposure.<br>• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.<br>• Proficiency in modern teaching methods and classroom technology.<br><br>Performance Indicators<br>• Quality and consistency of lesson delivery.<br>• Improvement in student academic performance.<br>• Feedback from students, parents, and colleagues.<br>• Contribution to the professional growth of junior staff.<br><br> </p>
