The role requires a senior civil engineer, registered with PEC, with at least 15 years of experience in building and construction projects across government, semi-government, or reputable private organizations. Candidates with a proven track record in handling large-scale public sector projects will be preferred.As the Employer’s Representative, you will coordinate with consultants, oversee project execution, monitor costs, and ensure quality and compliance with engineering standards and regulations. You will manage contractor work programs, review payments, maintain detailed project records, and assist in hiring and training technical staff. The position is initially for two years, extendable based on performance, and offers a competitive, market-based salary.<h4>Project Engineer Required</h4>Organization: Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) Location: G-10/4, Mauve Area, IslamabadPosition: Project Engineer (1 post)<h4>Qualification &amp; Experience:</h4>Postgraduate in Civil Engineering, registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).Minimum 15 years of experience in building and construction with government, semi-government, or reputed private/public organizations.Preference for candidates with experience in managing and executing mega public-sector projects.Age Limit: Up to 45 years (including 5 years general age relaxation)Contract: Initially two years, extendable based on performance<h4>Key Responsibilities:</h4>Coordinate with consultants to prepare procurement documents under Public Procurement Rules.Estimate costs of work packages for the CCP office building.Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and control costs.Liaise with project engineers and consultants for design and execution.Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with specifications, norms, standards, and regulations.Attend third-party inspections and review contractor claims.Verify measurements and approve interim payment certificates.Scrutinize and approve contractor work programs, resource plans, and proposed construction methods.Prepare monthly progress reports and a consolidated Project Completion Report.Maintain detailed records including site diaries, correspondence, photographs, and as-built drawings.Inspect works during defect liability period and resolve contractual disputes under PPRA rules.Assist in hiring technical staff and provide training for engineering staff.Perform any other tasks assigned by the Competent Authority to ensure smooth project execution.<h4>General Instructions:</h4>Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
